Vista Academy offers high school students a Culinary Arts program; which falls within the Denver Public Schools’ Hospitality and Tourism Career Cluster. Vista Academy has a state of the arts culinary arts wing that provides our students with the best training available. Our proximity to the airport partnerships with various hotels in the area will provide our students with exciting internships and job-shadowing opportunities. Students will participate in a cohort that will expand their learning to international opportunities to explore the language, cooking and culture from the country in which their cohort is focused.
The Culinary Arts program at Vista Academy will provide students many options with regards to certificates and education. Students will receive an Industry recognized Certificate through the ServSafe program. Through our partnerships with community colleges students can seek a Food Service Management, Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry certification as they seek post-secondary or career options upon completion of the program. Community Colleges will articulate up to 12 credits for our students.



Ms. Jamie Caldwell is the backbone of Vista Academy’s Sports Medicine Program. Through Ms. Caldwell’s dedication and expertise, High School students get an incredible opportunity to learn the ins and outs of Sports medicine- a career in high demand at the moment. Students in the program will take 4 classes in this pathway: Intro to Sports Medicine, Sports medicine 1, Sports Medicine 2, and Sports Medicine 3 (Internship).
Chef Link and Chef Zayac are the grand force behind Vista Academy’s Culinary Arts Program. Currently, all high school students have the opportunity to be a part of this amazing kitchen.
Welcome to Mr. Joy’s Computer Aided Drafting and Design Program. Mr. Joy is an Architect who holds a Masters Degree in Education.
